Speedway Motors 9300104H Details

If you are using ’92-and-later LT4 style D-port heads in your street rod, these shorty headers are for you. The tight-fit headers design fits in a wide variety of applications, and the block hugger headers have built-in OEM-style donut seals on the collectors so no gaskets or collector reducers are needed. These block hugger headers are ceramic coated headers.

  • Compact design

  • 3/8” thick flanges w/ oval 1.29" x 1.67" port configuration
  • 16-gauge tubing
  • Header bolts and exhaust gaskets are included
  • Collector reducers are not included but offered below
  • May require modification to accommodate knock sensors in some applications

Application

  • 1992 and later LT-4 engines
  • Compact design will fit a wide variety of early street rods
  • Will not fit 1955-1957 Chevys, Camaros, Chevelles or other modern cars with crossmembers under the two center exhaustt ports

AHC coated headers will burn and be damaged at exhaust temperatures above 1300 degrees. An excessively lean fuel mixture can generate exhaust temperatures over 1700-1900 degrees. If the coating is burned (which will look like a dull gray) due to a lean condition, it is not warrantied, but the headers can be recoated.

Not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel). Violations subject to $37,500 penalty per violation per vehicle, revocation of registration, loss of use on California public right of ways, and proof of correction for tampering. I haven't installed these headers on my 40 Ford street rod yet because I'm waiting to get my trans back from the rebuilder before installing the motor.I opened the box and was amazed at the quality of the headers. The finish is flawless, great job.The price was very reasonable and even cheaper than others I looked at.

Unfortunately these headers will not fit under a stock 32 Ford hood. I learned talking to your tech department that Speedway does not offer a header that will fit under a stock 32 hood. The front exhaust ports Cyl 1&2 are 1.5 inches too wide and extend outside the stock hood. You need to look at your competitors that offer a 32 Ford header.
