    TCI Automotive 743910 Details

    These Powerglide drum kits are configured to use high performance frictions and steels, which significantly increase lock-up surface area and allow the drum to hold more torque. The drum is constructed from a high-strength cast steel and has had excess material removed to reduce rotating mass. Oil holes have been added to allow fluid to escape the drum and permit the piston to engage quicker. A standard needle bearing stepped into the front side reduces friction and drag while the high strength, forged steel clutch hub is built extra tall to accommodate the additional clutch plates.

    Our C4 Forward Steel Drum is designed with high performance frictions and steels in mind for higher horsepower capacity.

    TCI Automotive provides a limited warranty covering manufacturing defects for 30 days on racing equipment and 90 days on street/strip equipment, valid only for the original purchaser with proof of purchase. Approved transmission fluid and cooler flush products are required, and claims must be authorized through Edelbrock Group Tech Support. The warranty excludes modified, improperly installed or maintained, abused, accident‑damaged, improperly cooled, or unauthorized repaired products.
