Overall Assessment

The product is consistently praised for its firm build and great quality. Its practicality is evident as it works well in model A vehicles and for conversions on pre-war cars. The assembly is partly pre-assembled, making it easy to install and includes necessary extras such as the Wilwood slave cylinder, brake master, and hardware. Users find the removable pedal assembly from the frame mounting bracket useful. Concerns were raised about fitting difficulties and issues with faulty brake master cylinders. Yet, the majority rave about its safety and solid feel, declaring it a valuable and reliable part of their vehicles.

When Ease, Quality, and Safety Matter this Assembly is Right

When I started building a period correct fifties "A" roadster on a deuce frame I originally planned on mounting a stock 38 Ford pedal assembly and modifying it to work with the T-5 behind my early Dodge 241. It wasn't going to be simple without the original X-member so I looked around and found this gem! As soon as I opened the box I knew it was just what my car needed. It comes partially assembled and includes the Wilwood slave cylinder, brake master, and all of the hardware. The bracket included was just right for my pinched deuce rails and located the pedals right were they needed to be. I like that the pedal assembly is removable from the frame mounting bracket if needed. Best of all this piece feels solid and safe. It takes the guesswork out of linkage so you can focus on other areas of the car. Now when I bring my young kids for a ride in a real hot rod I won't have to worry about this part of the car letting me down! TCI built a great part that is worth every penny!

Unit I got was.....

I bought the under floor clutch/brake (non-power assist) unit. got it all lined up welded in and installed the master cylinders and put pedals and push rods in and found the brake push rod no where near being lined up with the master cylinder slave hole. Had to come up with another set up for the push rod on the brake side of things. Then when bleeding the brakes and testing it turned out to have a faulty brake master cylinder. I could pump the brakes and hold psi on pedal...all was good then I'd let pedal off and count to five and push pedal again and it would go to the floor. I did not go back to Speedway for another as my project time line put the install of the brake/clutch set up over a year later after my purchase. Could cylinder have dried out in this amount of time or some such deal? I'm looking for numbers as I write this to go to NAPA and get another master cylinder.

Assembly bolted to the factory location with no modification needed. All lines connected properly. I still haven't bled the brakes or clutch yet but overall seems to be a great product.

This has 2 different size ports on the brake master cylinder. One is 3/8 and the other is 1/2. Wich one goes to the front disc brakes and witch one goes to rear drums? Thanks

Hi , I am interested in you TCI part # 91060065 , but I'm running 4 wheel disc on my 56 Chevy truck. I recently purchased a master cylinder that is compatible with 4 wheel disc(91031445). So , do you sell the TCI pedal assembly without the master cylinders, just the pedals ?

I am running a Tilton 6000 series HRB on a Richmond super T-10 4-speed tranny. Tilton says I need to use a 7/8 bore Master but the 600-6571-56 kit has the Wilwood Hydraulic clutch master cylinder with a 3/4 bore, will a 7/8 bore master bolt/fit in the same location, is the fitment still the same? This clutch/brake assembly is a quality unit, heavy duty, easy to install and look great. I recommend this product.

I am building a t-bucket using a flathead motor and original manual trans. looking for a pedal combo that will work with a modern brake master, and a manual clutch unless there is a hydro-clutch adapter I can install onto the transmission.
