TCI Automotive 399973 Details

TCI Chevy stamped flexplates are .035" thicker than stock, and the starter ring is welded to both sides of the flywheel for additional strength. Constructed from a high tensile strength material, these flywheels resist elongation and cracking. All 168-tooth flywheels have GM dual bolt patterns, are sized for stock 3/8" mounting bolts and can be easily drilled for 7/16" diameter high performance torque converter applications. These machined flexplates are perfect for stock to mild performance applications.

This forged flexplate is for '91 to '95 BBC engines with 1-piece rear main seals. SFI 29.1 approved and externally balanced. 168 tooth count.

Flexplate For GenV Big Block

I bought this flexplate to replace my stock one and to fit my torque converter. The stock flexplate did not have dual bolt patterns for the torque converter. This TCI flexplate has the small 10.75" and large 11.5" torque converter bolt circles. It is also made for the GenV Big Block Chevy which requires a slightly different balance than the older Mark IV. The fit is excellent and the finish is high quality. It is SFI rated which is a bonus for my street cruiser.
