I always used R2C filters in the past because of the the dual sealing surface. These filters are made the same way and I have used them for several seasons with great success. No disappointments here. They are great!

Melts with small carb back fire

Bought a few to try, very similar to the R2C we all came to love. The seal is great slightly stiffer so good idea to grease it. Had a small carb back fire in the shop and it melted a hole rite through the media filter… it's not as good as the old stuff but resembles in many ways.

Seems to be a solid filter, but beware if your buying a kit with the 5 or 6" filter bc you won't find a stud long enough to fit. I got a 5" with the recommended speedway rod and it's not even close. It raises the top 1.5" more than an equivalent filter height. Would have gotten the 4" or better yet the premium filter option if I'd known. Stuck using a drop base or another new filter at this point. It is a really nice filter otherwise
