Driver side linkage mounting questions. Does the driver side of this base have the sleeve over the throttle shaft upon which the manual throttle lever rotates? Does the throttle shaft on the drivers side have the hole for pinning the hand throttle collar? (not a show stopper) How far does the throttle shaft extend on the driver's side. That is, is there room on the shaft to mount a progressive linkage arm beyond the hand throttle collar. It is my hope to retain hand throttle operation on a triple carb manifold. I plan to put a Stromberg 48 on top of this base. Please confirm that the choke and accelerator linkage geometry is compatible between the 48 top and the 97 top. If you can help me sort out the center 48, I will be buying two 97 secondaries from you!

base assembly for stromberg 48 carb Can the stromberg 48 be used as a primary and two 97's as secondary carbs? They will go on an Offenhauser manifold for SBC. Will the 97 base work on the 48 carb?
