Bought tachometer to install into a standard mounting cup. Way---way too long. Tested unit and it won't correspond to correct rpms, tried all the trouble shooting suggestions. (Idle rpm as matched by other gauge.) Snipped off the too long back mounting studs to fit cup and installed anyway. Looks great in the highboy!! Wish it'd work right.

Great looking vintage looking Tach. Just remember to set it for v8, 6 cylinder or 4 cylinder. Does not fit the Speedway Tach cup. Had to modify Tach cup and Tach to make fit.
