Our Standard '26-'27 T body is a rugged, one-piece design (no doors). It features a molded turtle deck and firewall, and no foor.
- Total Length: 90"
- Firewall Width: 29"
- Firewall to Back of Dash: 16-1/2"
- Firewall to Back of Seat: 55"
- Firewall to Center Line of Rear Axle: 75"
- Widest Point of Body: 49"
- Overall Height of Body: 24"
- Rear Width: 42"
These bodies are a close re-creation of the 1926-1927 Ford roadster, matching the original length and width but not being an exact replica. Minor modifications, such as a flat firewall and straight edges, simplify the molding process, though they lack inner supports for a stock floor and do not feature a functioning rear deck lid, making them suitable for open-wheel street rods but not for a precise stock restoration.
Our fiberglass floor panel (#97327300) fits our 1926-1927 T bodies and includes extra reinforcement ribs and a transmission tunnel, featuring a flange for mounting a bulkhead (sold separately).
Additionally, the bulkhead panel (#97327400) fits between the rear of the floor panel and the body to enclose the passenger compartment. Durable and strong, this setup is an excellent choice for your build.
This product is made to order. Please allow three to four weeks for lead time.

The product is recognized for its quality and affordability, even when other options may be more cost-intensive on the market. Although smaller in size, customers view this as an advantage for certain dimensions, while those seeking a larger size find it customizable. Superior material quality is highlighted, particularly compared to competitor's fiberglass bodies. Customers recommend this product, especially for its near paint-ready state and exceptional fit. Quality of fit and absence of parting seams are also appreciated, indicating a high level of practicality and usefulness.

As a veteran street rod builder and shop owner with 35 years of experience now retired, I'm impressed with this little 1927 roadster body from Speedway Motors. Can't wait to get started, should be a lot of fun.

I knew the body was small when I ordered it. I have to literally cut in in half both way, and add to it, to make it roomier. So, for the price, yes, it's cheaper than most out there, but be prepared for little room, heavily altering it (like I am), or ??? If it fits your dimensions, it's perfect. Otherwise, plan on adding a lot more work to it, like I am.
I would buy this again.

I have built 5 other glass bodied car and this body is by far the best quality that I have used yet. I paid over $8000 for a Willys body that took 100 hours of body shop labor to get paint ready. This body is almost paint ready to start with, There are virtually no parting seams and the quality of fit between the other
