Our Deluxe '26-'27 T body includes (2) opening doors that have the latches and hinges installed (body shipped with doors not affixed to body-see note below) . Features a molded turtle deck and firewall, inner door panles, and no foor.
- Total Length: 90"
- Firewall Width: 29"
- Firewall to Back of Dash: 16-1/2"
- Firewall to Back of Seat: 55"
- Firewall to Center Line of Rear Axle: 75"
- Widest Point of Body: 49"
- Overall Height of Body: 24"
- Rear Width: 42"
These bodies are a close re-creation of the 1926-1927 Ford roadster, matching the original length and width but not being an exact replica. Minor modifications, such as a flat firewall and straight edges, simplify the molding process, though they lack inner supports for a stock floor and do not feature a functioning rear deck lid, making them suitable for open-wheel street rods but not for a precise stock restoration.
Our fiberglass floor panel (#97327300) fits our 1926-1927 T bodies and includes extra reinforcement ribs and a transmission tunnel, featuring a flange for mounting a bulkhead (sold separately).
Additionally, the bulkhead panel (#97327400) fits between the rear of the floor panel and the body to enclose the passenger compartment. Durable and strong, this setup is an excellent choice for your build (sold separately).

Customers appreciate the high-quality, symmetrical fiberglass work and rigidity of the product, setting it apart from competitor offerings. Despite a few minor flaws, the body's overall quality is praised, particularly for its straight structure and well-fitting doors. However, due to the necessary specialized fabrication work, some customers suggest this product might not be suitable for beginners. Recommended by users for its robust build and affordability, the product provides a solid platform for vehicle assembly.

We are happy with the quality of fiberglass work and the symmetry, from side to side, is pretty close. There were a few bubbles/ holes in the gelcoat, which is expected. Overall its a well made body. If you do not have a high fabrication skill level, this may not be for you!!! We did a lot of fab work and extra fiberglass to achieve what we wanted to build.

My first impression of this body was that it is very rigid. Considering the price I was expecting something that was very wobbly and would need considerable bracing before being used. But that is not the case with this. The doors fit very well and the whole body is very straight. Overall I would say that this is a great platform to start building a car.

The picture for the Deluxe w/ doors & no floor shows the firewall cut out for the transmission and a hole for the steering column. The images for the other T Roadsters do not show these cuts/holes. Do any or all of the '27 T kits come with these cuts?
