Finish Your Classic Truck Project With GM-Style Rally Wheels

The iconic and timeless look of the GM Rally Wheel is due in part to the exciting machines these wheels came on as an option. Starting in 1967 you could find these stylish five-slot steel wheels on Camaro, Chevelle, and Corvette. The original Chevy Rally Wheels design provided a low cost, yet unique wheel for GM’s muscle cars. The silver argent finish complimented any body color, while the five oval shaped slots provided extra cooling for disc brake equipped vehicles. Originally made in 14-inch diameters for Camaro and Chevelle, the top tier Corvette would be fitted with 15-inch diameter Rally Wheels, both just 6-inches in width.

Today the much desired 15-inch version, often referred to as the Corvette Rally Wheel, , or simply “Corvette Rallies,” is in high demand for period look muscle car builds. However, these are often found in sad shape due to 40 or more years of road going service. It is not often easy to find a suitable set of Corvette Rally Wheels that do not have rust, cracking, lug nut or center bore wear, or out of round issues preventing them from being usable on your muscle car or classic truck project. Not to mention, as stated previously, these wheels were a maximum of 6-inches wide. If you were looking for a wider wheel in the past you would have had to have the wheels widened, or the centers cut out and welded into a wider rim. Today, you can easily order brand new Corvette-style 15-inch Rally Wheels in that period looking diameter in several widths to compliment classic bias ply or metric radial rubber.

Premium Steel Construction for Strength with Period Styling

Our steel Corvette-style Rally Wheels are made from high strength cold rolled steel rims that feature precision stamped centers with the correct size and shape vents that are welded to the rim. These Rally Wheels are held to exacting tolerances, minimizing wheel runout, and providing a wheel assembly that takes minimal weight to balance. The timeless look of a GM Rally Wheel never goes out of style and works with hot rods, rat rods, customs, classic trucks, and more. These steel GM Rally Wheels are available silver painted in 7-, 8-, and 10-inch widths or chrome plated in 7- or 8-inch widths with a GM 1/2-ton 4x4 truck 6x5.50 wheel bolt pattern. Now you can bring the timeless looks of GM’s Rally Wheels to your 1967 and up four-wheel drive C10, Jimmy, Blazer, Suburban, and more!

Maintaining the Corvette sized 15-inch Rally Wheels diameter means that our GM-style Rally Wheels will clear most 11-inch disc brake kits and will work with most any factory front or rear drum brakes thanks to the wheel’s 4.26-inch center bore opening. We offer original style trim rings and several center cap options, including the popular Derby cap, disc brake cap, highway patrol cap, and more.

These wheels will require the appropriate 60-degree conical lug nuts for your wheel stud size for mounting. The valve stem hole is compatible with both push-in and bolt-in tire valve stems. Lug nuts and valve stems are sold separately, so be sure to grab the correct number of lug nuts for your wheel bolt pattern and a valve stem for each wheel when ordering your GM-style Rally Wheels!

Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the price, appearance, and paint quality of our product, commending the wheels for their fit and overall aesthetic enhancement to various truck models. However, some reviews noted concerns about quality control, citing instances of wheels being out-of-round. Though these issues were not widespread, they suggest a need for careful inspection before installation. The chrome plating was deemed less than ideal by some, but the many positive reviews about the look and price of these wheels confirm their value.

possible wheel wobble!

I bought a set of these 15X7 Chevy 6 lug rally wheels for my 1965 Chevy C10 truck. i noticed some wheel wobble and saw a few lug nuts that didn't look tight. after taking the wheel off i notice the hub and drum were riveted together and they had held the wheel away from the hub. F.Y.I. look to see if your drum/hub assembly is riveted together before you put these wheels on. the rivets are just tall enough to hold the wheel away from the hub. better safe than your wheel passing you up.

very little quality control

first off, wheels are good for the price, if you receive straight ones. I bought a set of these wheels a year ago and later found out that two(if not all) were out-of-round. thought it may have been a balance issue but within that year I've had them balanced three times but still the same. by the way the rally caps are plastic and chrome peels off. too late to send the wheels back. guess I will use them as a spare tire or I will build $60 coffee tables out of them. Quality control really needs to look at things like this!
