Our product consistently impresses customers with its reliable performance and quality build. The replacement juice clutch's utility and durability is noteworthy, with users reporting excellent functioning in daily drivers and muscle cars alike. Some customers mentioned its longevity outperforms pricier competitors, making it a great-value choice. Minor issues like leakages occurred but were not deal-breakers. The cylinder kit is praised for its attractive anodized purple color although some users had issues with connectivity and an additional adapter's requirement. One feature which truly stands out is its compatibility that enables easy installation in varied uses from demolition derby cars to classic Mustangs and continued performance even with heavy usage. A few customers, however, expressed a need for a rebuild kit and a desire for longer piston travel. Despite minor setbacks, customers recommend our product for its great fit, easy setup, and smooth clutch operation.

A good product that could be better
Similar to the my review on the add-on clutch line, it's not immediately clear from the description that when you purchase the Speedway Motors brand clutch kit, the Speedway Motors s-word cylinder kit, and the s-word hose that they recommend, they don't actually connect together without an additional adapter. This seems to work well, great price, and the anodized purple is... something. But my two frustrations were having to order and wait on the appropriate adapter, and having to build my own clutch push-rod. It would help a lot to have a stronger reminder in the description or somewhere that this isn't going to be all you need.

Just barely enough travel
Application: '65 Mustang with Centerforce clutch assy and T5 trans. Hope to eliminate the unsightly aftermarket cable now in car. 1.25" travel is just barely sufficient travel. I prefer more "cushion", to allow for slave cylinder bore wear / internal leakage. Curious to see how long this works, or if it will grind gears between shifts. Will keep the ugly cable setup handy - just in case.

Slave has plenty of throw and allows you to swap the bleeder valve and incoming fluid fitting so you can mount on either side and still bleed the system.

I bought this for my crown victoria manual swap (tr-3650). It is my daily driver, and this $lave (can't use that word in a review on a product with that name?) cylinder lasted from Sept. 2018 to June 2021. I am buying it again because the McLeod is 2.5x the cost and the many many Dorman options would take an eternity to wade through for specs. Besides leaking like a sieve after 2.5 years, it has served me well.
I would buy this again it seems to be perfect for what I nee

Once bleed it works just like the other one I had, Also had to use the old fittings because of my hose and bleeder screw were easier to use and fit.

Do you have any instructions available for proper installation? I have fabbed the bracket and push-rod but need to know where to attach this adjustment wise for best operation. In other words so I don't kill the throw-out bearing or clutch....

In reading the questions posted about the distance of travel, one response say a 3/4 bore mc will only yield approx. 1" of travel and a 7/8 bore mc will get the full 1.25". Another response says the 3/4 will yield 1.25". Which is correct? Would the travel increase with the use of a 1" mc and would the slave cylinder handle that?

I bought this type of slave cylinder for my Jaguar E-Type. It fits perfectly. The only problem I have is that it is leaking where the pipe comes in. I know how to do flares but I am not sure if I am doing the right one. I did a double flare 90 degrees. Is this correct?
