Pull type slave

I used this pull type slave on a TR3650 manual transmission I fitted into a Crown Victoria. Excellent replacement for the cable pull that comes equipped in most mustangs. The pedal feel is so much smoother and pressure is significantly less. It does require you to add your own threaded extensions for mounting to this particular transmission which is still a breeze. Has excellent throw range when used with 3/4" bore master cylinder or larger. This was used on a completely custom build and the pricing compared to similar slaves was very budget oriented for a better looking slave cylinder. Fantastic looking metal body with sturdy construction. I have approximately 300 miles on the slave so far and no issues even with hard fast shifts.

This cylinder failed after about six mon

I installed this on a daily driver 4x4 pickup. I am a machinist / fabricator by trade and I did do thorough job on the mounting brackets and also made sure it was adequately spaced away from the exhaust pipe to prevent thermal fatigue. However, about 5000 miles worth of regular daily driving and the cylinder failed. The pull rod is threaded into the piston with no mechanism to lock it into place. Therefore the vibrations of the engine caused this threaded shaft to vibrate loose from the piston. I'm sure your engineers can come up with a solution. I did order a second one as a direct replacement in order to get my truck back on the road. I am planning on making modifications to the broken one to prevent this from happening again.

The thing leaks from the main body when depressing the pedal. Wish it didn't, it would work perfectly for the situation and I already made a bracket for it!

Just what I needed. Bought a push cylinder thinking that it will work but, ended up purchasing a pull cylinder instead. The bracketry for the pull cylinder was a lot sturdier than the push bracket one that I fabbed up. Good quality, great price!

Purchased this slave cylinder & clutch hose # 106-40280, do you sell the adaptor fitting to connect that hose to the slave cylinder? And does it matter which end of the hose is attached to the slave cylinder as one end of the clutch hose has a 90 degree fitting on it? Thanks.
