Customers have praised the product for its overall quality, with many detailing on the glossy, smooth chrome finish and size versatility of 14.5" to 15", improving usability and steering capabilities. Retro enthusiasts found it to be a significant improvement over other aftermarket options, lauding its authentic look which enhances classic car models. Several users also found it to be better than initially expected despite not being marketed as 'show quality'. Some noticed minor flaws like imperfections in chrome appearance and a basic horn button, but these were easily rectified. Also, note was made about the high price point relative to product quality. Yet majority of the reviews leaned towards satisfactory and repeated purchases.

excellent
The product was all it was advertise to be and more. Excellent quality from the vendor you picked. Shipping time was great in a few days sooner than I expected. Make my car period correct in all ways. People ask me where I got the steering wheel and share with them it was from Speedway Motors, Lincoln, NE. I have bought from Speedway over the years and have not had to return one item! I'm please about that!! And like other people plan on getting more items from Speedway in the future. Thank You for being there! For all of US car people!!

15" Impala Wheel
Wheel and horn bar are almost as advertised, "not show quality". I'm not building a show car so the quality is acceptable except there is a nick out of the steering wheel. Speedway will replace it but expect me to pay for the return shipping !!!! At the original cost of the wheel,I would think they would pay that cost and not put it on the customer!

steering wheel quality was so-so but the horn parts would never work, I had use some old horn parts and make some new parts just to get the horn to work, pitiful engineering. Way overpriced for what you get.

I was hoping that it was smaller than 15" and it was 14 1/2". That made my day.

The Chinese are good at copying stuff. This wheel is very nice, chrome very nice but that button why would they script CLASSIC in there? Makes it look cheap. Easy enough to pop it out and paint it black, and glue it back in. So... Other than the button I am very pleased with this steering wheel.

I was told on the phone that this steering wheel was not show quality,I immediately knew it would have flaws considering that I was a little disappointed. My point is that the folks I dealt were professional and up front with details.

Will a stock horn button from a '59 Impala fit? Nice looking wheel other than the horn button.

O.K.-mixed reviews on the 15" wheel for quality. It appears to be associated with a chrome issue. I will be repainting surface to match red interior on '60 Chevy. Had Ididit column installed so adapter will be used. CHROME-are they all coming-in the same or do they vary from the manufacturer? The '60 is a driver-but most would consider a $50k restoration a show car-all dash components-metal is new/restored. Currently has a Le Carra wheel on it. I'm picky-but not anal...love speedway products. So-to the best of your knowledge...are there better 15" repo wheels w/higher standards-or evaluate your first. You are always good w/returns. I haven't really shopped others. Thanks!

You indicate that the horn ring is driver quality. Do you sell a better quality horn ring that will fit this wheel? If not, can the ring supplied with the wheel be rechromed?
