Works Well

Purchased this for the 15" 1957 Steering Wheel. It actually works and is the spittin-image of the original for the larger OEM wheel. The adapter plate makes the transition to the steering column work well. You Tube has a video of how to do it, watch it first. Easy button :)

Incomplete Kit

The instructions ask for a 3/8 hole at 10:30 position and on my new Retro 59 15" wheel (Made in China) one of the wheel puller holes is in that position. This kit does not contain the plunger button plate and the plunger, spring, and retainer did not fit my GM column. I modified my columns plunger plate to accept the retainer and set it at the stock 1:30 posiion. The ididit youtube video was a big help. Horn works by pressing the right side wing. Turn signal do cancel correctly.

Bought this incase I needed it for a replica stock steering wheel on a 64 Nova with a Flaming River column. The wheel fit without me needing it. I'll keep it since I opened it up to see if the gap ring helped, it was too tight of a fit. The gap is nice without the kit.

Please tell me what the outside diameter of the cupped washer is? I have a horn cupped washer of a different style and it does not fit into the 56 chevy downsized steering wheel that I purchased from you. The cupped washer I have does not have slots like the one you show, it has additional holes, and does not fit into the recess of the steering wheel that you sold. I tried to attach a photo of the cupped washer that I have. Since you supplied many of the horn pieces that are needed with the steering wheel, it is surprising that you did not supply a cupped washer that would fit your steering wheel. What is the outside diameter of the cupped washer that you supply? I do not see how the ring and other items in this kit apply to adapting to your supplied 56 chevy steering wheel. Maybe you can give me some advice. I looked at your installation instructions for this part and it did not seam to address my situation for the steering wheel you provided to me. If necessary can I purchase only the cupped washer separately.
