Whether you're going for the drag race look or just trying to save weight, this valve cover is for you! These 2300 Pinto 4 cylinder valve covers come without holes for pcv or oil fill.
Product may differ from photo.
Note: Part number 57520457 works as a replacement breather.

Fabricated Valve Cover for 2.3 Ford
I purchased this valve cover as a gift for my son. He has a 1980 Ford courier truck he has been fixing up for quite some time. When the valve cover arrived it was packaged very nice. After opening the package and inspecting it, I was very pleased to see how thick it was and the quality is just second to none. Car show ready. I will be looking for other products from Speedway motors for my own stuff in the future. Thanks for a great product and gift. My son loved it.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING
The Valve cover is very aggressive and great looking. However..... the fitment around the front cam tower is not a perfect match and also the most important problem... the oil cap. Once the oil cap is secure and tightened its not removable from the top of the valve cover. You will have to pull the valve cover off to add oil to the engine. I did not know this and the pictures don't show the oil cap being 2 pieces tightened together and a set screw to make sure it doesn't come loose.....

So to my better judgement I bought it anyway even though the computer said it wouldn't fit my 2.3 L Ford motor and it was right... but I was able to drill new holes and tig weld the old ones up and it works great! Arrived it bubble wrap inside a box within another box no scratches or anything. Might polish up a little bit more so has a mirror shine to it arrived in a somewhat polished. All in all welds looked good and it works perfect

could have finish done better and they could of made it to not hit the cam gear. it needs to move to the back of the head 1/8 to 3/16" to miss the cam gear

Took 1.5-2 hours to polish out very small scratches that covered the entire valve cover. Other than that I'm extremely happy with the valve cover. The website said it wouldn't work with my '87 Thunderbird but it fits perfectly. Looks great, makes me want to detail and wire tuck my entire engine bay.
