Speedway Motors 91032717 Details
These 17" competition-style steering wheels have a 4-spoke stainless steel frame and a black foam cushion with molded finger grips around the rim. Has a 1" dish with the standard-of-the-industry Grant 3-bolt pattern.
Note: This steering wheel comes with a horn button, but NO WAY to retain it. Purchase adapter kit 410-10112 to retain the horn button to the wheel for a "non-fuctional" horn button, or use adapter kit 410-3196 to fit GM, Ididit, or Flaming River columns for a "functional" horn button.

I was searching for a stainless wheel with a specific diameter and offset along with that certain look which I needed for a custom armored vehicle. Most sources were incredibly expensive or simply didn't look the part. This steering wheel meets all my expectations.

OK for the price, but will upgrade at so
The first wheel they shipped me had problems with the machining of the mounting holes and would not align properly with my adapter. Speedway was quick to send me another one shipping paid. The second one did not have alignment problems, but the rubber grip had some defects in it and it had what I would describe as a "drip" of rubber formed at the bottom of the wheel's grip probably from the molding process. The stainless also had some slight scratches, but I kept it because I needed it for my mock up. Since I bought mine I see they have raised the price and for the new price, given my experience with the two wheels I received I would not recommend the wheel.

Wheel comes with a horn button, nice. Nothing to attach the horn button on to, not nice! So now you have to order the horn button retainer and pay an outrageous mailing fee, double the cost of the retainer. Their add should mention you will need a horn button retainer when you purchase this wheel and horn button. Not to mention the added time waiting for the retainer to arrive.

Pep boys broke the powersteering pump off my pickup, so i decided to put a manual steeringbox on it, with a larger wheel, then found those are scarce as dragons teeth. Will keep the wheel for another project, have found a guy who says he can weld my block right, to put the PS pump back on it.
