Customers have praised the quality and practicality of our product. They specifically highlighted the bright chrome quality, easy installation, and fit. Many plan to purchase the item again, suggesting high satisfaction with performance. The product has proven effective in varied car models, including a '47 Plymouth, a '31 Ford, and a cobra kit car. A point of differentiation from competitors noted by a customer was that our unit indeed comes with inner tie rod ends. However, it is indicated that jam nuts are not included in the package. Note: some customers have advised buying mounting bolts and bushings simultaneously to save on extra costs.

I ordered this rack Tuesday morning and it was delivered Wednesday to Mpls. I couldn't believe it and the shipping was the 'slower' free shipping. It is a very nice product. It fits great with easy install. I assumed it included the jam nuts like the non chrome one does but they were not included. I don't have them on my old rack so I will have to find some. But here it is two days after I ordered it and I have it installed and driving down the road. And this is not an isolated good service from Speedway. They provide excellent service on every order.

I needed a replacement manual rack & pinion for my Cobra kit car due to inner tie rod end failure. During the course of my research in trying to locate the right replacement unit, I discovered that while other vendors show pictures of the rack with the inner tie rod ends, they do not come with the unit. Naturally I called Speedway to verify that their unit did indeed come as pictured. The technical support rep went over what I was looking for to verify that it would solve my problem and I had the unit in 2 days. I couldn't have asked for better service and / or support during the process.

The sugested part for my application is #91034344 Mustang ll rack and pinion on 39 chev. This would be mounted to the back of an axel and require a slip joint with travel of 2" or more for axel movement as springs compress. This type of rack is what i wanted for 35 years. I have never seen this set up. Everyone i know who could fit and install this says there is no slip joint that moves that far. Does anyone sell a slip joint like this and where could i find one? Thank You

To adjust Toe-In after this unit is installed on the car, do I have to remove the outer tie rod from the spindle to rotate them? Or does the inner shaft (the threaded male shaft that goes into the rack & pinion unit) rotate? Normally the inner shaft has a place for a wrench so that it can be rotated for alignment.
