The Speedway Motors Eliminator Manifold has all the same great features as the Qualifier Manifolds, but with the addition of an open space underneath the plenum chamber. The gap underneath allows for a cooler air charge coming into the motor that results in a jump in performance and power. This style of intake manifold has become very popular over the years, as they are a proven design that puts the power to the ground! The Eliminator series is set up to run a standard square bore carb, as well as featuring nitrous bosses, four corner water ports and dual distributor tie downs. When looking for additional power, without sacrificing the streetability of your ride, look no further than the Eliminator Manifolds from Speedway Motors!

- 5.160" x 5.625" "square bore" flange works with typical Holley 4150/4160 and Edelbrock Performer-style carbs
- Textured plenum floor keeps fuel droplets in suspension during the transition into runners, improving mixture quality
- 4-corner 1/2"-14 NPT coolant ports for flexibility in mounting temp senders or racing-style rear coolant hoses to prevent hot spots
- Features 3/8"-18 NPT vacuum port, standard 5/16"-18 carburetor mounting holes, and 3/8"-16 distributor clamp mounting holes
- Dual distributor hold-downs make it easy to adjust timing from either side of the engine
Fits 1955-86 SBC engines and will also work with later 1987-95 SBC cylinder heads using the supplied adapter bushings for the center 4 mounting holes (which are drilled at a different angle on those heads).

The product's key attractions among customers are its good finish, clean aesthetics, and great value for the price. Customers appreciate the high quality and practical feature of having a mount for the coil, helpfully increasing usability. While modifications like grinding are needed for some installations, they don't affect the product’s effectiveness. The intake is structured well, with many customers experiencing no vacuum leaks post-assembly, enhancing its credibility for reliability. Customers have used it with Felpro 1206 intake gaskets, indicating compatibility. The intake has aided users in boosting their engine's horsepower, with some limitations in seasonal usability. It's also clarified that the intake is a Speedmaster brand, not Speedway, but this misbranding hasn't diminished satisfaction. The product continues to be recommended for its noteworthy performance attributes.

Excellent Intake for the price. Good gasket coverage.
There's one mount right behind the drivers side rear runner for mounting the 'coil' if you have one. I had to grind off the side of this mount to get the bolt/socket to fit on the intake hold down bolt. If you have your engine assembled, you need to tape off everything to keep the dust out. Plus: There's PLENTY of casting there to grind and still be ok. Minus: It takes off the pretty black finish in that spot. Pain in the tail to tape everything off. PRE-CHECK all bolts for clearance before installing, then you can grind this area while the intake is off the engine....and possibly touch it up with a little black paint. This in NO WAY effects how well the intake is held down. Started the engine, no vacuum leaks at all. Used a Felpro 1206 intake gasket, worked great.
