Overall Assessment

Customers highly recommend our product due to its easy installation and practicality, especially for old Chevys, emphasizing that there are usually "No Problems at all". The product is acknowledged for its substantial improvement of brakes without needing frame modifications. Many users note the 'easy to install' quality of it, even asserting, "if someone can't install this system they shouldn't be working on cars". The product comes with a master cylinder bleed kit and instructions. Despite being slightly weak where the front brake lines are mounted, its aluminium proportional valve is appreciated. Some note that the system hangs a bit low under a car, which can be a risk for lowered cars. However, the product's effectiveness once installed is praised and it is said to work "great".

My sbc350/400 is on a stock frame in my .52 deluxe. There's no room on the firewall for anything so this was a great option! My bracket came slightly assembled so it didn't sit right at first. Just needed too pull the bolt out and spin the lever until it worked.

Good quality product and easy to install.

This product is a great improvement to the brakes on old Chevys. Could have had some instructions included, regarding the porportional valve and how to mount the brake lines to it. The bracket needed a 1 inch hole drilled, to clear a frame rivet in the mounting area. When mounted, the entire system hangs a bit low under the car, specially if you have a lowered car, there is a risk of damage to the system, if you drive over a speedbumb or driveway curbs. I will problaly mount a steelplate under the car, to protect it. The porportional valve is in aluminium, and its a bit weak, where you mount the front brakelines. Even with the right fittings, there should have been some more/deeper threads. (deeper bore) The kit comes with a master cylinder bleed kit and instructions. Nice! All in all a good product that I would recommend to others.

Unit came assembled. I was very disapointed that there was NO Installation Instructions included in package. Had to Chat with SPEEDWAY to get installation instructions for each component. CPP assembled this unit for SPEEDWAY.

In the question from lamchop two years ago: Johns answer mentions a return spring. If you need a return spring why didn't it come with the kit? I installed this in my 50 Chevy sedan and it definitely needs a return screen. Was it supposed to come with it ? Can someone explain please.

Hello! I have a 1950 Chevy Styleline Deluxe with a 350 / 350 combo installed. I have the disc brakes kit (9101954) in the front and 10" Mustang drum brakes in the rear. I am looking for a complete pedal/brake booster kit, to fit under the floor. What should I order? Can you supply me with the order numbers, for the complete parts needed? Also, I need to install dust/protection plates on my disc brakes in the front. Do you have some, that will work with kit 9101954? Thanks! I appreciate your help! Anders from Denmark.
