Overall Assessment

Customers value the exceptional quality, practicality, and distinctive sound of our Smithy glass packs. These mufflers fits well on a variety of vintage cars, maintaining traditional aesthetics while delivering that desirable nostalgic rumble. Despite some reports of thin paint, users commend the good paint finish and the product was noted to be a nice addition to their cars. The compact size of the muffler allows for easy installation, even in tighter chassis. While a few customers found them to be quieter than expected, most users enjoy the mufflers' professional sound, which is neither too loud inside nor too raspy on the highway, perfect for those who prefer a mellow then growling sound. Old timers and novice users alike appreciate the Smithy glass packs for adding character and enhancing the overall driving experience.

Good sound in a compact package

The compact size of the 22" body allows easy installation in tight hot rod chassis and still provides adequate noise control. Decent sound without the irritating drone at highway speeds.

very quiet muffler

Bought 2 of these from Speedway to replace a stock muffler and put on a dual exhaust system. I wanted an exhaust that sounded good. Unfortunately these are almost as quiet as the original muffler I took off my 1946 Ford flathead. I will be taking these off and giving them a quick trip to the recycling center.

Not only are these aesthetically pleasing, they also sound great. I put these on a SBC 350 with dual exhaust and I couldn't be happier with the sound.
