Vintage style street rods are hotter than ever, and nothing gives your fenderless rod an authentic dry lakes competition look like a set of lakester headers. These lake style header kits allow you to build your own weld up headers and tailor them to your vehicle. Lakester header kit includes parts to complete both sides.

Include flange plates, pre-bent tubing, collector plates, block-off plates, gaskets, bolts and flanges for connecting an under-car exhaust system. Small block kits use 1-5/8" primary pipes. All tubing comes pre-bent. The 30" tapered cones can be trimmed as needed.  Fits Ford 289-351W.

I'm using these on my 28 model a coupe so far they've been easy to work with it would be nice if they came with a mandrel or at least a piece of plate with a cutout that matches the flanges preferably both to help form the tube to fit into the header flanges I'd expect to spend 8-12hours building the set and suggest a digital level and bevel set to get them to match side to side which is what I found to be the most time consuming besides initially figuring out where I wanted the cone to be

Great kit for people with the tools and knowledge to build their own headers. Fitting the tubes into the flanges can be a pain. I used a vice to shape the tubes with a 11/8" square spacer inside the tube to form the ends.

This is a good quality product, all the hardware was included and extras. Had a ford and a GM flange (the ford flange seemed to be plasma cut but the GM one was a punched one and I found it was a little poor on quality...but I was using the Ford flange) Comes all neatly packed in one box, the cone tubes are awesome and well made, all the bends were exactly the same and I had plenty of tube length to work with my application. (1930 Model A) They are now all done and in place. Took me about 2 days start to finish. They look awesome!!!! I definitely recommend this product if you want to fit your headers just like you want them. If it's not important to you then I recommend the pre fabricated ones because it's a LOT of grinding, welding, cutting and more grinding and welding and fitting and welding..... You get the idea. Thanks for reading!!! LODAC
