Choosing the Right Headers

CARB Warning

For race/ off road use or for use on pre-1966 vehicles.

Emissions warning: this part only legal for sale or use in California for racing (competition) vehicles which may never be used, registered, or licensed for use upon a public highway, or if installed in vehicles model-year 1965 or older; motorcycles model-year 1977 or older; or off-highway recreational vehicles (such as off-road motorcycles and all-terrain vehicles) model-year 1996 and older. Any other use renders the vehicle tampered and not legal for use on California public highways (any public street or roadway, public dirt road, public park, or publicly maintained right of way open to the use of the public for vehicular travel). Violations subject to $37,500 penalty per violation per vehicle, revocation of registration, loss of use on California public right of ways, and proof of correction for tampering. There are similar restrictions and penalties under federal law and the laws of all other states with penalties under federal law of up to approximately $45,268 per tampered vehicle and/or engine.

Nice kit for the money

Nice easy basic kit to use. As i said nice if it came in stainless. also you should offer another version that's not so much "block hugging" the engine as not every ap need that much. If the mating angle - tubes to head flange - were cut so the pipes were at 90^ it would be another great option - block hugger lite

packaging screams made in japan this kit will work temporarily for what i need until i can have a better quality pair made , will use this kit to make my template for larger tube and thicker flange headers could not find another tight fit header weld kit other than this one , i'm packing 50 lbs of potatoes into a 2 lb bag so off the shelf headers will not do unfortunately so this was the only option right now

Great kit if you have basic cutting and welding skills. I was able to use this kit on my c4 corvette. I was able to cut it to sit closer to the head at the top and I also angled the flange and collector so it went to my exhaust pipe collector in the same spot down low. Can't beat it for the price. This kit you can manipulate a bit. Great kit if you want to cut and weld it yourself and choose the angles of the flange and collector.

Used these for my MGB with SBC. I have a set of Sanderson headers that are over $ 500.oo and these have thicker tubes !!!! Glad I had thicker set of flanges on hand the ones supplied were too thin !! I would pay a little more for 1/4" flanges !!!!

Hello. I am wondering what the specs of the headers are when they're all welded together. Do you have a measurement for these like all the other speedway headers? I Am mainly concerned about the measurement from the block outwards and the top of the exhaust port to the bottom of the collector
