Speedway Motors 91515000 Details

Speedway Tight Lash cams produce a broad range of power due to the short amount of cam degrees it takes to go from .020" lift to .050" cam lift. This is known as major intensity. The shorter the span the more torque the lobe will produce, and for the lobe to run excellent up at higher RPM, it must have an excellent area under the curve. You can tell these do because of the very high duration at .200" cam lift.

Compare our numbers to other cam profiles and you will find that these are far superior!

I was very happy with this cam. It was what I needed to get excelent tork and power throughout the RPM range advertized. Unfortunately after only two races on it, my motor blew up and it apears that the camshaft broke, causing the piston to make contact with a open valve. I would like to get another cam of mimular profile for my new motor, but I'm not sure if I can trust it.

If i use this cam and 577810107 < these springs will i have to have screw in studs or will press in hold? Im using a 355 sbc short block with tall dome guessing with vortecs it will end up around 11:1 going in a 1/2ton chevy pickup is this gona work out?
