Customer reviews highlight a significant safety concern with the Pull-up belts due to a defect that prevents proper tightening. This flaw was only identified on race day, demonstrating that the product's usability and practicality are subpar. The lack of reliable safety features casts doubt on the belt's material quality. This situation led to one customer choosing not to race and returning the product. Despite this, the product earned positive feedback for being one of the few pull-up options available. However, it seems that the product's strengths do not outweigh its safety disadvantages.

Do not buy these Pull-up belts, there is some kind of quality defect issue that prevents them from properly tightening, very unsafe design. Simpson is going to kill someone. The belt problem didn't surface till race day, I ended up not racing because I belts couldn't not properly tighten me down. Sent belts back to Simpson for inspection. Dealing with Simpson customer service has been a long drawn out exhausting process, with out any answers. I do not recommend Simpson to a friend.
