I needed a pull up lap belt for my vintage midget. Pull down belt wouldn't work because of both full side panels plus the dry sump tank on left side. The only problem I had was needing to make extensions to get the adjuster up into the seat. That is caused by the chassis mounting point and is not Simpson's fault. Maybe Simpson could make belts with a longer distance from the mount to the adjuster. I like the latch cover as a safety feature. The price of this lap only belt was at least half of a complete 5 point harness set.
