I resell these pedal cars. The Blue Diamond 55 chevy pedal cars are simple in design, especially the steering assembly resulting in zero problems...The steel tubular frame provides extra strength. There is free shipping a major cost savings when other pedal cars cost for shipping is almost the price of the pedal car. The jalopy pedal cars/trucks is another quality made...All one needs to do is lift these pedal cars that alone convinces you there is some serious steel in these.

Fit and finish not up to par. Bubbled paint, poor craftsman
I was somewhat disappointed in the overall fit and finish of this product. It looks great in the photos, but really doesn't live up to expectations upon delivery. Maybe mine was a fluke, but there are bubbles in the paint in places, the metal doesn't match up well where the front clip and the back clip meet with the main body. I guess if the object was to match the poor machining abilities in 1955, then perhaps they met their mark. All in all, it is not a bad product, just a poorly made one.

I ordered the 1955 Chevy pedal car for my grandson because his great-grandfather had a real 1956 Chevy. I received an email stating that my order had been canceled, and I was issued a refund, except for a restocking charge. I didn't return it because I didn't get it, so why the restocking charge? I was asking to please be able to receive the car, but received an email that they were working on crediting me for the restocking fee.

This was the second pedal car I purchased for my grandchildren. Item was damaged during shipping by FedEx. Customer service was fantastic about shipping another replacement vehicle immediately. The return department was able to credit my account as soon as I dropped the damaged item at the UPS store. Just wished the customer service department would refund the difference in price since the new vehicle was listed in the black Frida sale. 299.99 to 249.99. But that would require me to return the good car and take a chance on the new one being delivered undamaged .
