This all steel air cleaner is based off the 1951-1956 Olds & Caddy air cleaner. It uses an over-the-counter 14" x 4" replacement element. It's even notched out in the back to clear a GM HEI distributor. Fits 5-1/8" carb neck (most Holley, Quadrajet, Demon and Edelbrock carbs).
- 4-5/8" carb to top of air cleaner assembly
- 5-3/32" carb to top of air cleaner nut
- 18-1/4" wide (not a scaled down version)
- 17-19/32" front to back length
- Notched at rear for HEI distributor clearance
Includes all steel housing, steel top, paper filter element, carburetor stud, and unique rocket shaped wing nut.

My 56 Olds has a ZZ4 crate motor that is fantastic except it looks like somebody put a Chevy engine in an Olds. This air cleaner helps the looks a bunch.

Has sharp edges everywhere that must be removed, unless you have a thing for paper cuts. Manufacturing scratches were not removed prior to chrome plating. Needed to sand blasting and refinish the raised top. Looks great now.

Will this item fit a 1962 pontiac parisienne that has a 283 cu in engine with 4 barrel edelbrock carb. I like the full size version of this unit. this is the standard engine that was in all early model gm vehicles of this era . what is the model number and cost of larger unit tks. john
