I purchased this product on the recommendation of a machine shop that provides T56 transmission components for non OE installations. I have a 1996 Impala SS with a push pressure plate and hydraulic release setup. Apparently this formulation provides a better level of lubrication to seals in the release bearing, as opposed to most formulations of DOT3 brake fluid which I have used in this setup for 12 years now.
