Shocks are well suited for my project

I have a 62 GMC truck with a Camaro front subframe. I bought these with the 450lb and needed the 550lb springs. After installation I was able to get another 1.5 inches of wheel to fenderwell clearance. Super easy to install (installed and adjusted them 6 times to test out spring rates). I added a little bearing grease to the threads of the shock and to the base of the spring to allow for easier adjustment of the coil. Everything worked out pretty well. If I was to get these again I would get the roller thrust washers so I dont have to add dirt attracting grease to the spring seat.

Only dig would be to make sure, unless you want the spring all the way down, preset the height, otherwise raising it in the pocket is tough.
