It worked out great and it is short enough to clear the block hugger headers. And how it is clock able to be able to turn it and get it away from the crank sensor.

I opened the box and was immediately impressed by the workmanship of this US made starter. Unfortunately, it had to be sent back as it did not clear the block sensor on my Corvette LS1 engine that I transplanted into a '64 Impala. It was definitely worth the attempt though and I am disappointed I could not make a go of it.
