This alternator is a beast and worth every penny. If you are sticking to old style v belt drivw you really don't want to go over 150amps without upgrading to serpentine setup because of belt slip. Powermaster gives you more amps with less fuss - straight installation in 5 minutes, everything fit perfectly - a true 100amp one wire alternator and I have power to spare.
