Customers highly recommended our Posie's Super Slide Springs for its quality, perfect fit, and practicality. The springs were praised for improving the ride quality of trucks, fitting frames of various models perfectly, and are described as an excellent replacement for original parts. Some noted the added convenience of pre-installed bushings. There were mixed reviews on their promise to lower the truck by 3 inches, suggesting variable results. A few users wished for additional pieces for installation to be also available for purchase. Overall, customers found the springs to be dependable and as advertised.

Not what I expected, but maybe better!
When I built my 1950 F1 I lowered it by removing every other leaf in the rear leaf springs. This did lower the truck a little, but felt "spongy". Clearly the solution was the Posies dropped lowering springs, right? Well, sort of...The original springs, now missing every other leaf, were almost completely "de-arched", so the new springs didn't really lower the truck. In fact, it looks to have raised it an inch or so...Nothing that flipping the rear hanger won't solve. As far as the ride is concerned, it is much improved! I wasn't surprised since I've previously installed these same type springs under the rear of 1956 Chevy 210 with completely flat springs and achieved the same result. If you're looking to lowering your truck, these springs lower 3" from new stock height. if your springs are tired, your results may vary. But, if your 75 year old springs are worn out and not riding well, these are a no brainer!

Disappointed
These springs are advertised as a 3" lowering springs, the only difference in these and the stock springs were that they had one reversed eye. Other than that, exactly the same. These did not lower my truck at all! Very disappointed to say the least. If you want replacement springs they are great, if you are looking to lower your truck, don't bother.

Haven't finished the build yet but the truck seems to sit level. I'm not sure what is up with the steel bands around the leaves. In the place of factory type clamps that prevent the leafs from fanning out are the same type of banding used to band coils of steel or item banded to a shipping skid. I assume this is temporary for shipping but now I will have to locate or make some clamps.

Great product. Fits as it is suppose to. Really made my truck ride better for sure. Be advised they only lowered my truck about an 1" which was good for me but others hoping for more may have to take other measures.
