Plain Tie Rod/Drag Link Kit w/Special Street 11/16" Rod Ends

These tie rod or drag link kits are pre-cut and tapped lengths of 7/8" O.D. tubing available in multiple lengths. Kits come complete with 11/16" traditional 7° tie rod end as well as a Ford cross steering tie rod. Tubing will be tapped with right-hand & left-hand threads for adjustability.

Select your length based on the center-to-center of the tie rod ends, which will also be the eye-to-eye distance between the steering arms. (the actual tube will be 6" shorter than length selected) At selected length, the link will be adjustable from 1/2" shorter to 3/4" longer.

Note: Always use anti-seize to prevent galling the treads during final installation.

Note: Assembled length will be 6 inches longer than the tube length provided (3 inches longer than the index tube length selected for the kit).

Link selection instruction.  When selecting your index option on the link # 916-34-option, your center stud to center stud length need will determine your selection.  For example, if you require an center stud to center stud working length of this kit to be for example 48", you will select # 91634-45.  This will provide you with a 42" end to end length tube link, which allows for the 6" of working ends.   In short, please select the link index option listed that will be 3" less than your working center stud to center stud length need, and the kit will be provided with the proper length link tube to acheive that working length.
