Our performance ignition modules are direct replacements for popular GM and Ford electronic distributors. These modules provide enhanced high RPM performance and when used with their corresponding Flame-Thrower coil, substantially increase spark plug voltage.

  • For compatible race-only HEI ignition applications.
  • Flame-Thrower ignition coil for the specified distributor or ignition system.
  • Coil-level replacement retains compatible ignition components.
  • Designed to work with the corresponding electronic ignition module.

I paired it with the pertronix race only module and they make a difference in pwr. and ease of starting. So far I think this is the way I'll be going from now on, just have to see how long they last. I put plenty of the silicone on the bottom, so we'll see

Along with the module, this gives 7.5 amps! Stock HEI is 4 amp, GM performance is 5.5. The extra lets you run a wider gap and get a better burn. Peel the stickers off and it looks factory!

Do I have to use this coil with the flame thrower module? I have an MSD coil now with the flamethrower module and have a bad miss in cylinder #2. I noticed the turns ratios are different
