I rebuilt a distributor using matching pertronix components including this one. It has performed correctly in two 20 lap circle track features at the time of this comment. I was turning the engine to 6800 rpm and noticed no sagging, misses, delays, or issues while reaching that rpm. I have no feedback as to the robustness or longevity of the electronics but if an item fails I am quick to update my feedback on Speedway so look at the date of this review and decide for yourself (I race March to Oct)

Along with the coil, this gives 7.5 amps! Stock HEI is 4 amp, GM performance is 5.5. The extra lets you run a wider gap and get a better burn. Peel the stickers and it looks favtory.
