The hotter the spark, the easier your engine will start, and this 40,000 volt coil is just the ticket to a quick start! Its higher voltage allows larger spark plug gaps for added power, smoother response and better fuel economy. These coils are internally resisted so they are compatible with many inductive ignition systems.

Flame-thrower coil by Pertronix

I replaced my old ign/system with a Pertronix no contact system with a flame-thrower coil in my 50 Merc V8 flathead. The flathead runs better, startes better than it ever has before. A great up date to the flathead with no problems.

Added this Flame-Thrower Coil along with the Pertronix electronic ignition to make my 1950 F-1 more reliable. The difference is amazing. It also added some bling that went well with the new air filter, breather, aluminum heads, radiator hose dress up kit.
