As usual Offenhauser is a nice casting, nice tinned aluminum. The problem with this manifold is that there are 2 "freeze" plugs in the water jacket that leak coolant. They are just pressed in and punched around the circumference. I've contacted Offenhauser and they suggest putting epoxy around the plugs. The real fix is to heliarc aluminum plugs over these 2 areas. An extra expense and trouble but now the manifold is on and working/looking good.
