Overall Assessment

Customers have positively reviewed this product for its good quality, practicality, and affordability. They found it very effective when used with the Petronix System, the 1946 Mercury v8, and the 38 Ford V8 flathead. The wire set worked smoothly, solving issues with flatheads and being suitable for use with electronic ignition systems. There were compliments on wire length being ample, allowing personalized routing. The wires are easy to install and come complete with everything needed. One buyer mentioned a faulty wire, promptly replaced by the seller. Many clients recommend the product for its compatibility, and would buy it again, even for other projects. Some customers pointed out that they wish the wires came in different colors. Lastly, note one dissatisfied review where only seven wires were included in an eight-cylinder car set.

Moroso universal wire kit

This kit was exactly what I needed to get my 51 Ford Flathead V8 purring again. Easy to cut wires (I did get the correct crimper tool). Worked fine the first time. I did split 1 spark plug cap (the first one I put on) I now have 1 non matching end that you can see, not a "big" deal, just a small detail but it'd be nice if the kit had a few extra ends of the 3 diff types they give you for making a boo-boo. But with all the different types of ends supplied I fixed it no problem. After installation, the ol' V8 ran awesome! It fixed my problem (of bad wires).

Fair Weather Only!

Left the '41 coupe out in the rain and humidity the night before the 4th of July parade. I would not start the next morning. It hit on only one cylinder. Good spark from the coil wire, but little to none at the plugs. Missed the parade. Started and stumbled badly after plug wires dried out for a while, then ran as good as ever after warming up for ten minutes. No, I did not flood it.

In called plug wires on 1934 sedan flathead. Not the easiest to put the caps on and you must use the correct crimping tool.

Supression Are these wires "spiral wound" for reducing suppression. To be honest, I am comparing yours to the Pertronix 7mm wires. So far I prefer Speedway's because Pertronix only supplies 90* end at distributor and I want to use straight ends.
