Moroso C3186 Details

Moroso’s C3186 12-Point Mild Steel Downtubes are designed to tie the front frame structure into the roll cage, turning the chassis into one solid unit. By reducing chassis flex, these front down struts can help sharpen consistency and decrease vehicle reaction time—especially in hard-launch, high-horsepower applications.

These downtubes are built to the same specifications as the front struts included in Competition Engineering 12-point roll cage kits and feature pre-notched tube ends to simplify fit-up during installation. They’re mandrel formed in-house on CNC equipment, meet NHRA and IHRA requirements, and are sold as a pair (welding required). They can also be combined with Competition Engineering C3181 to convert a 10-point cage into a 12-point setup.
