Maradyne MFA114 Details
The Maradyne MFA114 14" Texas Twister fan is a high-performance crank-driven cooling fan designed for maximum airflow and durability in demanding automotive applications. Constructed from injection-molded glass-filled nylon, this 6-blade fan is engineered to withstand speeds up to 8000 RPM while maintaining strength and reliability. The 14-inch blades are configured for clockwise rotation, delivering optimal airflow for improved engine cooling. Designed for easy installation, the slotted 4-bolt flange pattern (1-3/4" x 2-1/2") provides flexibility, while the 5/8" pilot hole and 1.92" depth ensure proper fitment. The fan extends 1-3/4" from the mounting surface and includes mounting washers for convenience. For proper spacing, compatible Mr. Gasket fan spacers (#2391 1/2", #2392 1", #2393 2") are recommended, making this Texas Twister fan a reliable and efficient cooling solution for high-performance builds.

Customers highly praise our product for its outstanding practicality with mentions of the fan's perfect fit and ease to cut for best sizes. The fan's quality is noted, specifically the ability to break upon impact, potentially saving other, more expensive parts of a car. Users have utilised this fan for a variety of uses, including derby cars, which demonstrates its versatility. Despite the fan being plastic, it is efficient at circulating large volumes of air, even at low RPMs. Customers indicate they'd repurchase and recommend this hardwearing and cost-effective fan over metal competitors. However, some customers report susceptibility to deformation at high speeds.

I would buy again
I am using this on a derby car, no need for an electric fan, multiple options for diameters, and I see this fan breaking apart of it hits something, which could possibly save the 200$ radiator. We will see how it goes in September. I had to order a smaller one due to my engine set up, but it pulls a good amount of air.

Don't buy this plastic junk
I bought this fan put it in my 1930 Ford with a Chevy 283. When you get up to about 40 mph it bends and it's the motor. This is not RPM based it is MPH based. It's made out of cheap crispy material. It look me a while to figure out the noise. Could have damaged all kinds of stuff. Look at the image you can see the paint.

I run these on my derby car. They work great and move a ton of air. In my application their nice because the blades "self trim" and the car bends up around them and break off eventually not stopping the engine like a steel fan does.
