The product offers a nostalgic look and is a good fit for various vintage and custom vehicles, such as a 1938 Ford Convertible and a 1947 Roadster 1800. Users appreciated the polish and design, confirming its usefulness in ongoing car projects. Some initial roughness and need for additional sanding have been mentioned, but with a bit of work, many users were satisfied with the end result. The product, seemingly durable, also provides the flexibility for alterations like resizing it for a '27 roadster. The superior polish when compared to competitors' products has been noted, although precautions are advised due to over-polishing of certain parts, like screws. Despite the small subset of criticisms aimed at the casting process, overall customer sentiment remains positive, signaling good quality for the price and repeated purchase intentions.

It took some work
The QC is lacking! I doubt if anyone looked at it to check the final buffing. A few hours of work with some emery cloth and a buffing wheel. Now it looks GREAT.

Mail Slot Frame should stay in the Mail
The casting was very rough and when they ground off the corners they went too far and left deep grinding marks. I had to spend a lot of time with a file and emery cloth to get it ready for buffing. When I was buffing the frame it broke. Looks like a very weak casting. I would have been better off sending the window frame back to Speedway and get a refund.

I knew this was too wide when I bought it, but I cut it down for my '27 roadster top from 20 inches to 17 inches and rewelded it together. I polished to a point, but gotta fill the air bubble pits in the casting :o( before it goes for powdercoating (silver).
