I used this harness to convert my old OEM HEI distributor to be electronically controlled via a Holley Sniper EFI setup. Works great and gets the job done. My only real issue is the fact that despite using the exact same connector and colors as the sniper, the color coded wires are reverse. That means you plug the green into the purple and the purple into the green… Other than that, it pretty much does exactly what you'd expect though. Also if you don't have terminal covers, you'll need some so it doesn't try to ground off to the body of the distributor.

ON GM HEI WHERE DO THE GREEN AND VIOLET WIRES TERMINATE INSIDE OF THE DISTRIBUTOR? I KNOW THERE IS A GREEN AND WHITE WIRE ON THE MAG PICKUP. DONT WANT TO MAKE A MISTAKE ON THE INSTALLATION. THANKS BILLY WEAVER
