This is by far the simplest upgrade that I've done to my Nova. In 1964 they used a throttle linkage. So it was all metal an very mechanical with bushings that needed changed regularly and hope you don't break a motor mount cause the metal linkage with a broke motor mount equals a stuck throttle very scary ask me how I know. This cable looks good the way it's made your capable of trimming it to the exact size you need an how they did it you can not tell it's ever been cut the original length was 24" I believe it's the shortest they have I needed like 14" so I cut the outer portion with a Dremel with a cut off wheel then snapped the end piece on my carb adjusted my bracket so I could have slack for adjusting and taped the inner cable to prevent fraying slid it into the end piece tighten the set screw an honestly you can not tell it's been altered in anyway an I love that plus going from linkage throttle to a Lokar firewall mounted pedal an Lokar throttle cable has made the driving experience so much better it's so easy to press now. A little to easy.

Purchased as a replacement on my street rod after overheating caused the (same) prior cable to melt enough to cause the throttle to stick and creat dangerous conditions.
