    Overall Assessment

Customers appreciate the product for its compatibility with FMX transmissions and its necessity in Holley EFI installs. It was found especially useful for roadsters and '41 Ford street rods. Some customers had to modify the cable connector to the transmission lever for a perfect fit, but overall, users are satisfied with its quality and practicality. It stands out as a well-crafted, easy-to-install, and highly functional product recommended for modifying transmissions, particularly compared to alternatives.

You will need to change the FMX kick down rod to a cable set up when switching to a Sniper. When I upgraded to a Terminator Stealth I was able to reuse the cable but had to custom make a mounting bracket. The standard bracket worked for the Stealth and I could reuse the stock throttle cable and pedal.

Cable connector to transmission lever needed to be enlarged, The cable locator that attaches to a pan bolt had to be bent and a longer bolt had to be installed.

I contacted Lokar first to make sure I ordered the correct cable to match my transmission. I had to do a little minor modification to get the fit I wanted on the transmission arm, but other than that everything went smooth and I've very happy with the product.

I have a 73 Gran Torino Sport with a 351w 2v. The original ford carb was replaced with a Holley that does not have the Ford kickdown lever. Will this product work or does it need the lever.
