    I've put a GM 4.3 in an 82 C10, and am looking to put a shift kit on it. This looks like a good candidate. Will it work with my tranny?

    1939 ford pickup I would like to install this in a 1939 ford pickup using a chevrolet drive train , I plan on using Scat bucket seats, the cab is very narrow there will only be about 3 inches between the buckets. Will this shifter mount back to far, would I be better off with a strait shift lever and not the Nostalgic bend ? I am also using Speedways 1935-40 Ford Bolt-In Tubular X-member ( this should give me some transmission adjustment leeway). I have not sourced the transmission or engine yet so I don't have a mock-up.
