Overall Assessment

The product, a Lokar 6164 throttle pedal, is highly praised for its quality and easy installation. Customers appreciate its aesthetic features and the level of adjustability it offers. It is known to work perfectly in vintage vehicle models like the 1968 GMC 4x4 and 1970 c2500, with minimal modifications required. The product is also appreciated for good compatibility, as noticed in a 1937 Chevy model. Some customers noted they need to purchase separate cables for operation, but overall, the throttle pedal is often recommended over competing brands. One user loved their product so much, they expressed desire to buy a matching brake pedal from Lokar.

I installed this on my 1968 GMC 4x4, it turned out great! I got my wife to help me bolt it in. She had fun too. I used the other Lokar cables and carburetor bracket. The accelerator has a lot of adjustment now. Very cool piece!

This is a high quality piece. Install couldn't have been easier. Keep in mind that this needs a cable that's sold separately. It functions great and looks good too.

The Lokar 6164 throttle pedal fit my 1970 c2500 perfectly. Easy to follow directions, minimal modification (drill out two holes to the next largest size) and the installation was a breeze. Only issue is that the firewall location where the brake/tail light wires go out is right in between where the pedal mounts and the throttle cable exits. I was going to re-route the brake/tail light wires anyway to keep them away from the engine heat. Lokar products are one of the best. Have used many of them for my restoration/modification.
