3" wide U-bolts needed when upgrading stock rear end to Ford 9" due to larger axle housings, which also required new leaf spring mounts for U-bolts.

Worked great in my '57 Bel Air. I had replaced the rear axle assembly in my car, and the spring perches on the axle were slightly wider than what was on the original axle, which caused the U-bolts to run at a slight angle. This setup fixed that. The U-bolts are plenty long, even if you are running lowering blocks. I had to trim off about 3 inches for my essentially stock setup. A new set of 1/2 inch bolts for my lower shock mounts finished the install.
