Speedway Motors 9300114H Details

Many rodders are looking to install Chevy’s powerful and efficient LS1 / LS6 Small Block V8 in their street rods, customs and classic trucks. These shorty headers can make those installations easier in a variety of applications, and help produce more power as well. These block hugger headers are ceramic coated headers.

An oxygen sensor bung is included in these block hugger headers, but not installed, for those who want to keep the engine’s electronic fuel injection. Includes bolts, gaskets, and reducers.

Application

  1. 1997 and newer Chevy Gen III small block LS1 / LS6 
  2. Note: To allow maximum clearance, these headers require the use of our 916-18016 motor mount adapters. They will not fit when using the OEM LS-Series motor mounts.

Armor Hot Coating (AHC) is a heat resistant, ceramic coating applied to the outside of the header. This coating will reflect heat, which helps retain more heat within the header tube while simultaneously speeding up the exhaust flow. Not only will this coating help you make more horsepower, it also keeps your headers rust-free, looking great, and lasting longer (when properly maintained).  If you are looking for a show-quality finish for your headers, this is it! Our AHC will withstand exhaust temperatures of up to 1300° F.

This is a complete kit from new header bolts and gasket to collectors, collector bolts and gasket. It even included weld in o2 bungs! The quality of the headers and great and flange is thick so no warping. Plan is for lq4 swap in 1987 v10 silverado. Fit should be good!
