Hooker Headers 2455-1HKR Details

Hooker Competition headers offer the best value in the high performance header market. Designed for the value-conscious buyer who is running either a "stock" or "mildly-modified" engine, Hooker Competition headers offer premium features at a very competitive price. Made of durable 16 gauge mild steel tubing, the Hooker Competition header design utilizes a long transition collector to reduce back pressure and increase exhaust flow. A perfect sealing surface is assured with the 5/16" machined flanges, with welded O-ring seals. Experience has proven that this flange size is ideal to maintain header integrity and be pliable enough to seal each exhaust port. Tubing is mandrel-bent to maintain metal strength and provide consistent tube diameter at radii to maximize performance. Hooker Competition headers have a standard finish that features a heat-cured, high-heat-resistant paint. Optionally, the famous Hooker Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating is available.

I'm running my Hooker long tube headers in my '71 Camaro SS 396...it has a fair build to the engine and I take it to Cruise Nights and Car Shows where my car wins trophies...these are just icing on the cake...

Didn't fit 67 chevelle big block with aftermarket aluminum heads. Had a perfectly beautiful finish. Went with the flow tech ceramic coated headers and they did fit

Hooker headers has been around for years. I bought these to go on a custom build haven't installed them yet but they look great.

When I removed the headers from the box I found flaws in the coating. I called Speedway and they sent a pickup label to return them so they could be inspected and replaced. Speedway was very apologetic and at this point I am waiting for them to receive the returned headers and contact me. I am hopeful for a positive outcome. Fortunately, I am not under a deadline. This is not a fault of Speedway, but one of Hooker. Speedway so far has been very responsive.
