    Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and noone has more experience designing quality fitting and performing headers than Hedman Hedders. The smooth-flowing mandrel-bent, long tube, under frame design gives your engine all the exhuast flow it will need to produce maximum horsepower and torque? Not just from your headers, but all of your performance add-ons. If your engine can't efficiently expel spent combustion gasses, your high dollar heads, intake manifold, blower, or even your cold air intake system, will be bottlenecked, limiting the amount of torque you can produce.

    First up grade I made to my 1982 AMC Spirit sporting a 2.5 lt GM Iron Duke was this header. There was a noticeable increase in torque along with a better sound even after I installed the muffler. This header dropped right on in with no clearance issues.
